Neysun Rouhani

Neysun Rouhani is a pianist and piano teacher based in London. He holds a BMus (Hons) in Performance, a PGDip in Piano Pedagogy, and a Masters in Piano Performance from Trinity College of Music.

Neysun began learning piano at an early age under the guidance of his father, British-Iranian composer Mehran Rouhani. He then continued his studies with professors Gagik Babayan and Raphael Minaskanian in Iran and Gerhard Geretschläger in Vienna. His teacher and mentor Benjamin Kaplan in London played a significant role in his development. Additionally, he participated in masterclasses with teachers such as Menahem Pressler, Charles Rosen, and Martino Tirimo.

His career has taken him worldwide. As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras like Pazardjik Symphony Orchestra, Docklands Sinfonia, Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, Sofia Soloists Chamber Orchestra, Graz Chamber Orchestra, and Atlanta Community Orchestra.

Neysun has a track record of successfully preparing students for all grades and diploma levels for various boards, including ABRSM and TRINITY. This experience has led to invitations to conduct masterclasses in the UK, the Middle East, Canada, and the USA. He is also frequently invited to serve as an adjudicator for piano exams and competitions worldwide.
